Estonian Holidays

About

eestipühad.ee is a modern, fast and clean website about Estonian public holidays, school breaks and flag days. Find everything you need in one place — dates, traditions, vacation planning tools.

Why this site?

Information about Estonian holidays is scattered across dozens of websites. Most were built years ago, with dated design, poor mobile experience, overloaded with ads. Many simply copy data from each other without checking official sources. eestipühad.ee is built differently:

  • Fast and mobile-friendly. The site loads in a second, even on mobile internet. No pop-ups, no video ads, no cookie prompts — just the information you're looking for.
  • From official sources. All public holiday dates come directly from Riigi Teataja (the State Gazette) and the Holidays and Celebrations Act. School breaks follow the official regulation of the Ministry of Education and Research.
  • Three languages. Information is available in Estonian, English and Russian — so that everyone living in Estonia can find what they need in their own language.
  • We don't track you. No Google Analytics, no personal data collection, no sharing with ad networks. Your privacy stays yours.

What's on the site

  • Public holidays — all 12 Estonian public holidays, dates, traditions, history
  • School breaks — official breaks for the current and next academic year
  • Flag days — when to raise the national flag, under what rules
  • Vacation planner — shows how to get more days off by strategically placing vacation days around public holidays
